Hall of Fame Soccer School The School In 1976, while living in Washington, DC, Georges Edeline started the Hall of Fame Soceer School to train metro area youth. The school was staffed by players from George Washington University's soccer team and the Washington Diplomats professional team. Sessions were held at churches, community centers, schools and youth clubs in the DC area. Georges revived the school in the Atlanta area in 1987. The school accepts all age levels, including a special clinic for parents, many of whom have never played the game. In the past thirty years, over 10,000 players have attended the Hall of Fame Soccer School. About the Director Georges Edeline has over 40 years experience as a soccer player, coach and administrator. He was captain and MVP of the George Washington University team and, following graduation, coached the team for ten years. Georges is a member of the GWU Hall of Fame. He has an MA in Education and has conducted soccer programs in the Atlanta area for the last 25 years. Write Comment ( comments) |
